It is the firm belief of MK Foundation, that for the people to grow and feel secured they need access to education and social justice which make up the fabric of communities and Bane is not an exemption.
The Foundation aims at building, supporting, and partnering with the community of Bane to empower youths as advocate for social justice and educational development.
The Scholarship Program is intended to provide Youths in secondary, university, and vocational schools from Bane Town with the financial support to sustain their education particularly talented young people experiencing financial barriers to education and skills development.
Motto: A mind is a terrible thing to waste.
The scholarships provide life–long opportunities for youths and a better–educated workforce for the community.
Applicants apply online through email against the eligibility criteria and successful applicants chosen through a screening process.
In her first maiden award ceremony held on the 18th of May, 2021 five students were awarded various levels of scholarship.
